Who is a member?
WE ALL ARE! As a parent/guardian/teacher of a child you automatically become a member of the Association.

Why we are here?
Our main aim is to raise funds to purchase items that would otherwise fall outside the school's budget.

Our second aim is a social one. It is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal.

PTA Meetings
Meetings are held usually in the staff room. Anyone is invited to come along to any of the meetings whether it's simply to listen to what's going on, express an opinion, make a suggestion, volunteer to help or become a member of the committee.

How does it work?
The PTA currently is run by a core of volunteers who regularly attend the PTA meetings and help to organise events. Being on the PTA doesn't have to be time consuming and everyone is free to contribute as little or as much as they like as infrequently or as often as they like. It is an ideal way of meeting new people who have the best interests of the school and their children at heart.

Volunteering
If you would like to help the PTA then please get in touch. We rely on volunteers for our event's to run successfully and are always happy to welcome new volunteers and appreciate all the help that we get.

How to Help
There are many ways you can help your PTA:

Attend a social or fundraising event
You don't need to know any other parents, you are welcome to come alone, with your partner or bring a group of friends. One thing is for certain, you will leave the event having made many more friends than you came with.

Volunteer at PTA events
You could get your children involved too and run a stall at the Christmas/Summer Fair together as the children love playing at being 'shopkeeper' for the day. Whatever it is, every little counts and is appreciated.

Provide new ideas
If you have any new ideas for raising funds or just for getting together and having a good time then please let us know. We are always on the look out for new things to try.

Can You Help?
If you would like to become more involved with the PTA, whether it's simply joining our social evenings, coming up with ideas or helping out at events then please get in touch. You can either leave a note in the PTA Comment Box by the school office entrance, speak to one of our PTA volunteers or email us oscar.fernandes1@hotmail.co.uk
