Our Maths Curriculum

Using all sorts of resources to help us with our learning! This year so far we have played games all about place value, made our own dial scales for weighing and become very familiar with bead strings to help us with addition and subtraction!

Our English Curriculum

Making persuasive adverts for our inventions that we designed!
We have looked at Stone Age Boy and Ug so far in our English curriculum! We have written instructions, newspaper reports, and created our very own playscripts! We use a lot of peer and self assessment to help us with improving and editing our work.

Our Science Curriculum

Predicting shadows for objects and then drawing them accurately.
Creating insects for British Science Week!

We have covered our ‘Rocks’ and ‘Animals Including Humans’! Within this, we looked at how soil and fossils are formed, skeletons of humans and animals and the different diets of these animals too!

Religious Education

Role-playing he order of service at a Baptism, including important symbols and their meanings, and key scripture into our role play. We started off one our topics this year by writing down things we loved about one another, and discussing how it felt to give and receive this love.

From Community Day helping out on the farm, to Forest School with Mr Phil, we absolutely LOVE being outside!

PE!

Domes and dishes to warm us up!
We have worked on so many different skills in PE so far this year including Orienteering, Tennis and Cricket! We have been very lucky to have Herts Cricket coaches come to our school and take a cricket skills session with us every Wednesday, and we have learnt so much from them!
